I recently ordered a Paper Mache tree from Amazon that I want to turn into a fun Vintage Halloween tree. This Paper mache tree will be very easy to get creative with.

You can find the exact paper mache tree that I ordered from Amazon by clicking my Amazon Store front down below.

The supplies that I’ll be using are:

1. Paper mache tree from Amazon

2. Replacement bulbs from Amazon

3. Hot glue

4. Drill and drill bit

5. Paint brush

6. Americana acrylic paint by DecoArt ( black, marigold and spiced pumpkin)

7. Elmer’s glue

8. Find gold glitter

9. Gold tinsel from our website

The first step is to drill holes into the paper mache tree. This tree has two parts and you’ll want to drill the holes into the outer tree.

You’ll drill the holes the same size as the post to the replacement lights. I will be drilling holes to the front side of the tree only.

Once I had the holes drilled I then painted the tree black.

I painted the tree black and the star part with the marigold colored paint.

I painted the inner tree part with the spiced pumpkin colored paint.

Once I had both trees painted I then added the Elmer’s glue and glitter to the star of the black tree.

Once I had the star painted and glittered I then added the lights to the tree.

I just stuck the lights into the holes that I drilled.

I attached the gold glitter to the outer edge of both trees with hot glue.

I added a puck light under the black tree and I added a small black crow to the orange tree.

You can find the lights that I used on my Amazon store front by clicking the link down below.

These trees were very easy to make and will look great mixed in with my Halloween decorations. I hope you’ll get creative and give this a try.
