I love decorating for Christmas and I love vintage Christmas decorations. After going through all of my decorations I thought it would be fun to make a small tree that can be incorporated with my vintage decorations.

The items that I’ll be using are:

1. One safety cone from the Dollar Tree

2. Hot glue

3. One pack of steel wool

4. Scissors

5. Black spray paint

6. Small glass ball ornaments from Dollar General

The first step is to cut the bottom edge of the safety cone off.

Once you have the bottom edge cut off you’ll then spray paint the cone black.

The next step is to glue the steel wool onto the cone.

You’ll add hot glue and then place the steel wool onto the cone. Be sure to unravel each piece of steel wool.

You’ll add the steel wool all the way to the top of the cone.

The next step is to remove the top piece of each ornament.

Add hot glue to the top of the ornament and place them onto the tree.

I decided to add a strand of battery operated lights to my tree.

This is a very quick and easy tree to make. It will look great mixed in with my vintage Christmas decorations. I hope you’ll get creative and give this tree a try.
