The Dollar Tree has their summer gardening items out and I ended up grabbing a trellis. I thought this trellis would make a great craft item. After looking at the trellis I realized we can make some quick and easy angel wings.
The supplies that I’ll be using are listed down below.
1. One trellis from the Dollar Tree
2. Surebonder fabric glue
3. Scissors
4. Wire cutters
5. Elmer’s spray adhesive
6. Warm and natural batting
7. Christmas snow from our website
The first step is to cut the trellis using the wire cutters.
You’ll cut certain pieces off to give you what looks like the photo above.
You’ll want to bend the sides to form the shape of wings.
Once you have the wings formed you’ll then trace them onto a double layer of warm and natural batting.
Once you have the wings traced onto the warm and natural you’ll then cut them out.
The next step is to place the trellis piece in between the batting and start adding the glue.
Be sure to glue both pieces of batting onto the trellis frame.
Once the wings are formed and glued together you’ll then add the spray adhesive.
You’ll spray on the adhesive and then sprinkle on the Christmas snow.
These wings can be used for an angel or placed any where in your home for a simple decoration. I hope you’ll get creative and give these wings a try.
