How To Make Bats That Hang

by blewis | Aug 13, 2024 | Fall/Halloween, Holiday | 11 comments

The stores are all starting to put out their Halloween decorations which has my mind going. I love decorating for Halloween and I thought it would be fun to make a few decorative bats.
These bats will be very easy to make and you can find the list of supplies down below.
1. Five wooden clothespins
2. Hot glue
3. Black spray paint
4. One pack of burlap leaves from the Dollar Tree

The first step is to cut the leaves as shown in photo above.

Once you have the leaves cut you’ll then glue them onto the clothespins as shown in photo above.

Once you have the leaves glued in place you’ll then spray paint them black.

Once the spray paint is dry you’ll want to glue the end of the leaves to the clothespin as shown in photo above.

Once you have the ends glued in place you’ll then add the wire from the leaves.

The wire will allow the bats to hang.

These bats were so quick and easy to make. They will make a great Halloween decoration hanging in your home. I hope you’ll get creative and give these a try.
