I’m starting to pull out my Spring decorations and I want to make a few new items to add this year. After going through my craft supplies I decided to use fast dry spackling to create a fun and unique Spring decoration.

The supplies that I’ll be using are:

1. One oval plastic tray from the Dollar Tree

2. Fast dry spackling

3. Bunny stencil

4. Bling embellishments

5. Hot glue

6. Spanish moss

7. Paint brush

8. Acrylic paint by DecoArt ( snow white, lamp black , avocado and light buttermilk )

9. Tin metallic paint by DecoArt

10. Spanish Copper Rub’n Buff

11. Wired Jute Cord from the Dollar Tree

The first step is to paint the tray with the Lamp Black paint.

Once the black paint is dry you’ll then add the Metallic Tin paint.

Once the Metallic Tin is dry you’ll then add some of the Spanish Copper Rub’n Buff.

The next step is to mix some of the fast dry spackling with the Light Buttermilk acrylic paint.

The next step is to place the stencil onto the tray and add the spackling.

I decided to mix spackling and Snow White acrylic paint for the tail area.

I did mot add spackling to the flower area. Once you have the spackling added to the stencil you’ll then lift the stencil.

I decided to sprinkle some glitter over the spackling. This is an optional step.

The next step is to paint the wired jute cord. I’m using an Avocado colored acrylic paint.

You’ll add hot glue to secure the wired jute cord in place.

I glued some of the bling embellishments on as flowers. You can find the bling that I’m using on Totally Dazzled by clicking my referral link down below.

I added some Spanish moss to the bottom of the tray.

I’ve had my stencil for a long time and I’m motivated to sure where it came from. You can find a variety of bunny stencils on amazon. You can find some that I ordered on my Amazon storefront by clicking my referral link down below.

This was very easy to make and will look great any where in your home. I hope you’ll get creative and give this a try.
