We recently got a beautiful architectural shelf sitter on our website that I want to give a makeover to. This shelf sitter is beautiful as is but I want to change it up to match my decor in my home.

You can find this shelf sitter on our website by clicking the link down below.
This makeover is very quick and easy. You can find the list of supplies that I’ll be using down below.
1. One shelf sitter from our website
2. Black spray paint
3. Metallic Gold spray paint
4. Antique Gold Rub’n Buff
5. Cardboard 6. X-acto knife
7. Hot glue

The first step is to spray paint the shelf sitter with the black spray paint.

I spray painted the back and front of the shelf sitter.

I spray painted a piece of cardboard with the Gold Metallic spray paint.

I traced the shelf sitter onto the cardboard. Once I had it traced onto the cardboard I then cut it out with the x-acto knife.

Once you have the cardboard cut you’ll then glue it to the back side of the shelf sitter.

Once you have the cardboard glued to the shelf sitter you can spray paint the back side black.

The last step is to add the Antique Gold Rub’n Buff.

This was such a quick and easy makeover and will look great any where in my home. I did mine in black and gold to match what I needed for my home, but you could do any color scheme you want for your home! I hope this will inspire you to get creative and give things a fun and easy makeover.
