I recently ordered some small wooden pallet trees from Amazon that I want to give a makeover to. Since we’re having fun with Christmas in July I knew I wanted to give the pallet tree a Christmas look.
You can find the exact tree that I ordered from Amazon by clicking my Amazon store front link down below.
The supplies that I’ll be using for this makeover are listed down below.
1. One small wooden pallet tree
2. One Christmas drying mat
3. Seam ripper
4. Fern colored chalked paint by Waverly
5. Paint brush
6. Scissors
7. Mod Podge for fabric
The first step is to paint the pallet tree with the chalk paint.
The next step is to use the seam ripper to remove the top layer of the drying mat. This drying mat is from our website.
The next step is to trace the tree onto the top layer of the drying mat.
You’ll want to cut the strips to match the pallet pieces. I used an ink pen and pressed over the fabric along the space between each strip.
Once you have the strips cut you’ll then add the mod podge to the tree.
Place the strip of fabric over the mod podge. Once you have all of the strips of fabric in place you’ll then add more mod podge.
This tree was so quick and easy to make and will amazing mixed in with my Christmas decor. I hope you’ll get creative and give this tree a try.
