Ok I found a lot of fun holiday table runners in Home Goods . I don’t use table runners on my table but I just know we can get very creative with them. You can find all different style table runners but I like the ones that can be cut in half and used for a craft.
The table runners that I bought are all from Home Goods and they were around $19.99.
I want to turn one half of the table runner into a fun stand up decoration.
The supplies that I’ll be using are :
1. One table runner from Home Goods
2. One king size pillow from Walmart or you can use poly-fil
3. Needle and thread
4. Scissors
5. Socks from the Dollar Tree
6. Two bags of rocks from the Dollar Tree
I am using a Halloween print table runner and I cut it in half.
I added one bag of rocks to one sock.
You want to make one long strip and then place the sock of rocks into the placemat.
I then split the second bag of rocks and created two smaller socks of rocks. You will place these down into the table runner and place one in each corner.
Once the rocks are in place you will then add the pillow.
I needed to add more poly fil to the top .
Once you have the table runner stuffed you will then sew the top shut.
I just love how the rocks allow this to stand straight up.
This is so easy to make and will look great any where in your home. I hope you will get creative and give this a try.
