Ok I’m going through my craft supplies and I realize I have a lot of old wooden thread spools. We have created a few things in the past out of wooden spools but I thought it would be fun to create a tree with a few.
I will be using wooden thread spools, hot glue and one wooden sign.
I purchased the white sign with distressed from from Hobby Lobby.
I’ve collected repurposed wooden spools from yard sales and thrift stores. I’ll be using 25 wooden spools for this tree.
You’ll want to find the center point of the frame and glue the first wooden spool in place.
You will continue glueing the spools in rows as you work your way down the frame.
I used 4 larger spools for the trunk of the tree.
This was very easy to make and will look great displayed any where in your home.
