Now that I have all of my Christmas decor down it’s time to decorate for Valentine’s Day. I always seem to decorate my mantel first for all holidays and different seasons.
I decided to stick to all neutrals for my mantel this year. We created some amazing hearts that I have hanging from the garland. You can see how we made these hearts by clicking the link down below.

I added a cream floral garland from our website. You can find this garland by clicking the link down below.

I incorporated some of the garlands into the hanging hearts. Lights are always a must for me so I decided to add some timer taper candles throughout the mantel.
These candles are placed on glass jars that we got creative with. You can see what we used for these glass jars by clicking the link down below.

I added a candle holder to the center of an old frame. The frame and candle holder are both thrift store finds.
We created the lace heart in the center of the mantel here at The Shabby Tree a few years ago. You can find the directions for this heart by clicking the link down below.

The cream colors seem to soften all of the brick on this mantel. I love how this turned out and I hope this will inspire you to decorate with things that make you happy.
Absolutely beautiful Barb! Love everything about it.
Barb, again absolutely beautiful. Your mantle is so pretty and always comes together no matter the season.💦💦💦💦🌲❤️🌲

The neutrals are beautiful & romantic- as always, wonderfully done!
I like the hanging hearts that have the sheet music on them. I really don’t dislike any of it.
Absolutely STUNNING !
It looks great Barb. I love it!
I really love the cardboard hearts – just beautiful, simple and elegant.

I don’t like it …I love it. Touch down, home run, score, babam
It’s very pretty and Romantic feeling.
Love the cream color! Just beautiful 😍
Love it! It looks so pretty with all the creams and I love the bottles! Perfect pop with the hearts hanging! Great job as always!!!
Really pretty. More twinkle lights!
I love this. The neutral colors are great. I’m in love with that garland!
Hi Barb! It’s always exciting to see what you’re going to do next with your beautiful mantel and with anything for that matter, in your lovely home! When you have different textures and heights of items, you can’t help but be drawn to them. I really do love the gold frame with the sconce, but I think the black background makes your eye go there first; at least mine does. May I make a suggestion?? What would you think of taking lace and spray painting the black with a combination of cream and light brown? It would be close to the brick color. Or…sponge painting it??
The gold frame is gorgeous!I think it would say, “Here I am! I’m old and beautiful!!!” P.S…..Maybe an oval frame with the sconce might balance out the roundness from the hearts…..??? So many options, Barb!!
Love you!!❤️🌲❤️
I love the cream color with the greenery & the trees. I think it’s beautiful!!
Your mantel turned out beautifully. Think I’ll make the hearts with music sheets. Love that idea.
Love the soft neutral creme colors on your stone fireplace mantel. Such a great contrast and brings in a real softness. The paper hearts with sheet music and flowers are my favorite and of course the gold frame and candlestick against the blue are striking. Thanks for sharing it.
I love it… beautiful ❤️❤️❤️!!!
I love it and yes the blue was needed to give you some color on the mantle !I love it all and also the Angel!
Your mantel is beautiful . Really like the neutral colors . My favorite is the lace heart .
I love the Floral garland and the hearts you recently made. I also love the lace heart and the thrift store finds! Valentines Day is one of my favorite holidays! I’m still working on putting my Christmas away, but have started getting my hearts out!🩷🩷🩷
I love the shabby chic feel. I would have thrown some pink in because I have a hard time distinguishing the various items. Maybe it’s just my old eyes! Love your crafts, I need to chime in more. I hardly ever comment. Love you, Barb

You absolutely blow me away with your design and creativity! I love the creams and neutrals. All of your decorations are awesome! If I changed anything, it would be the dark color in the gold frame. To make that piece a little less bold, wonder if incorporating soft pink, red or a combination would look in the frame? Barb, you are so awesome at what you do! ❣️
It’s you for sure. Very pretty
I love all the neutrals! I want do neutrals for my mantle this year! Thanks for all the great ideas!
Loving the neutrals, but I’am a pink girl so I would have loved to see a soft blush color behind the candleholder within the frame. I’am wanting to make the heart you made several years ago with the large candy canes and lace, I have everything to make it and even found your blog so I can follow along, fingers crossed I get it done soon. It was my all time favorite Valentine’s Mantle. 🩷♥️🩷♥️ my day is not complete till I watch the shabby tree🌲
Love it Barb! Looks Amazing!
I love it and yes the blue was needed to give you some color on the mantle !I love it all and also The Trees! I’m loving it all!
Beautiful mantel decor!! I love the bottle candle holders and song sheet hearts. So perfect together.
I love your mantel and neutral colors Love the frame with candle holder you did on a live
Very unique and very you! Love it all!!!!
Very pretty
I love it! The only suggestion is to make it more symmetrical, you don’t notice the beautiful frame is the center piece. I would move the lace heart to the left to leave the middle more of an opening so the frame shows up more. I love the candles on either side. I love the music hearts and the softness and romantic vibes your decorations convey! I love your brick mantel! You always make it look beautiful! Thank you for the inspiration!
Love it.
Love all the neutrals colors and lace.
I went up neutral colors last year and will add lace to sone of what I have already made
I love all the neutrals, but I would love a pop of red somewhere. Especially love the music decoupage hearts. Your home always is decorated so nice.
Looks very elegant. My favorite part is the hearts. I’m going to try to make them.
It is very pretty but I just think too much cream color lace bunched up – you can’t really enjoy the beauty of the lace pieces.
I love your mantle decor as always. I think I would remove the small tree in front of the heart and the lit one as well and put a splash of red there to make the heart stand out. Just a bit busy but beautiful. Wish I had a mantle to decorate.
I love everything you do! Your mantel looks beautiful!
I thought the candles in the bottles were a great touch.
Barb your mantle is perfect, I wouldn’t change a thing, I especially like the frame with the candle older and the glass bottles with the doiles
I love it! The hearts, the bottles the gorgeous natural swag with the flowers! You are so talented and I get so many ideas from watching you every day. So happy you are feeling better. I missed you.
I love it!!
Barb, you always do such a great job! For my taste I would put a cream background or red one for the candle in the frame and take away maybe 2 of the doilie bottles. That is just for me. Love watching you and got so excited when you mentioned me Friday night.
So glad you are feeling better!!
The mantle looks great. The only thing I would change is the dark brown taper candles. They stand out instead of blending in. But that’s just me. Looks well done.
Barb, I absolutely love everything on your mantel. It’s beautiful! <3
I absolutely love this!! the colors are perfect and it is so not in your face for valentines Its more of a winter romance.. for me I would add a few of my snowmen in the same color scheme and used a more brownish in the garland. I would leave this up until towards the end of march sense Easter comes so late this year. I do not do much for saint patties day. I think you did a fantastic job on this!!!!
Your mantle is always beautiful Barb. The creams are beautiful along with the lights. If I were going to change anything it would be the blue frame. But everyone’s taste is not the same. Do what makes you happy like you always say. 🩷
