I find myself walking up and down the isles in Walmart looking for some craft ideas. They have so many items that you can almost always find something to get creative with. I recently found a great plastic container that screamed candy dish to me.
This container was in their party isle. I want to give this container a makeover using a fun Santa napkin. This napkin is something that I used on our boutique page as a wacky Wednesday giveaway.
I used a metallic gold spray paint on the plastic container.
Once the spray paint is dry you’ll then want to decide where you want to apply the napkin. I ripped the napkin into 3 different pieces.
I placed the entire Santa head onto the container. You’ll want to add mod podge and then place the napkin on top. Once you have the napkin added you’ll then place more mod podge on top.
I ripped the napkin to give the pieces each uneven edges leaving space between each piece. Once I had all the pieces in place I then added some Elmer’s glue and glitter along the edges.
I decided to add some bling chain from Totally Dazzled to give this piece a little sparkle.
I used some E6000 glue to secure the bling chain pieces into place.

This was so easy to make and will look great mixed in with my Vintage Christmas decor. I hope this will inspire you to get creative and give something a makeover.
