Walmart is starting to put their Christmas out and I just had to take a peek. They have a variety of ornaments but a pack of angel wing ornaments caught my eye. These ornaments come in a pack of four for only $3.47. We can easily use one of these ornaments to create a very quick and easy angel.
The supplies that I’ll be using are:
1. One pack of angel wing ornaments from Walmart
2. Green and red silk ribbon from our website
3. Scissors
4. Hot glue
5. Totally Dazzled crown ( optional)
6. Twine
7. One 1 1/2 inch wood bead
8. Cross bling embellishment from Totally Dazzled ( optional)
I bought my wood beads from Hobby Lobby and they are about 1 1/2 inches.
I cut four strips of each colored ribbon. My strips are about 28 inches long.
I folded the ribbons in half and tied them together with a piece of twine.
Once you have the ribbons tied together you’ll then pull the twine up through the wooden bead.
I folded a piece of ribbon in half and placed the loop through the hole on the angel wing ornament.
Bring the ends of the ribbon through the loop.
I tied the ribbon from the angel wings around the neck area of the angel.
I decided to braid three strips of the green ribbon to create some arms to my angel.
I placed the arms around the neck area and used a piece of twine to connect them together in the front.
I wanted to add a cross to the hands and I decided to sew the cross to the ribbon arms.

I added some hot glue to the neck area to help secure the wooden bead in place.
I added a small amount of hot glue to the crown and secured it to the wooden bead.
This angel is so quick and easy to make and will look great hanging any where in your home. I hope you’ll get creative and give this angel a try.
