Ok if you’re following The Shabby Tree then you all know that I like to play fun games. Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and I thought it would be fun to create a fun and easy game to play with my employees.

This will be a lot of fun and very easy to make. I’ll be creating simple paper hearts. These hearts will be filled with random items. I’ll be filling mine with some cash, gift cards and scratch offs. You can fill these hearts with any type of items that you want.

I’ll be using simple shipping paper to make my hearts. You can use wrapping paper or even scrapbook paper.

You can make your hearts as big or as small as you want. I cut out two hearts and then glued them together leaving an opening.

Be sure your opening is wide enough to stuff your items in it. I added some crumbled up paper to give my heart some puffiness.

Once you add your items you’ll then glue the opening shut.

I quickly added some colorful paint to my hearts.

My employees will each draw a number from a cup. The numbers will be the order that they will select their heart. Once they pick their heart they are to open it so that everyone can see what was in the heart. When it’s your turn to pick a heart you’ll have the option to pick a new heart or steal one that was already opened. Whoever gets number one will have the option to steal a heart at the end if they choose to.

This will be so much fun and it’s a fun way to give out your Valentine gifts. I hope you’ll give this a try with your family, friends or employees.
