If you’re curious about what’s been happening behind the scenes at The Shabby Tree… you’re in the right spot! We’ve finally moved into our new warehouse, and one of the first spaces we set up was our filming rooms—complete with brand-new backdrops. 🎄✨ Whether you’re here for inspiration or just want a sneak peek at where all the magic happens, come take a look around!

This was the very first photography backdrop we set up in the boutique area of our new warehouse, and it completely transformed the space. It has that dreamy winter-walkway look—snowy trees, glowing lanterns, and tons of twinkle—so it instantly feels magical on camera. We paired it with a simple white settee and a deep green throw to give it that warm, inviting touch without taking away from the backdrop itself.

We couldn’t resist adding a little extra magic to the crafting room, so we set up two gorgeous Christmas photography backdrops in this space! Each one brings a completely different look and feel—one is cozy and elegant with tall arched windows and a glowing fireplace, while the other has that rustic farmhouse charm with snowy doors, winter greens, and a classic wreath.

They’re perfect for filming, photos, and all the festive projects we’ll be sharing with you this season!

This snowy farmhouse-style backdrop actually came as a set with the one we used in the boutique area—but the moment we unrolled it, we knew it deserved its own spot. The rustic doors, the wreath, the gifts, and all that dreamy greenery made it way too pretty to pair up. So we gave it a dedicated wall in our crafting room, and it instantly became one of our favorite little photo-ready corners!

I had to share a close-up of this backdrop because the details are just too good. The distressed barn doors, the snowy greens, and that big Christmas wreath make this scene feel so warm and rustic—even though it’s just a printed backdrop! It photographs beautifully from every angle, and this tighter shot really shows how realistic the texture and greenery look.

This backdrop is pure magic. The moment we hung it up, the room transformed into a cozy, candlelit Christmas scene straight out of a storybook. Between the tall arched windows, the snowy view outside, and the soft glow from the “fireplace,” it brings such a warm, welcoming feel to the crafting room. It’s incredibly realistic on camera—almost like stepping into a grand old home decorated for the holidays.

Even though it’s just a printed backdrop, the fireplace looks unbelievably real—right down to the stacked candles and textured brick. The garland draped across the mantle adds so much depth and dimension, and the frosted greenery with deep red and cream florals gives it that rich, classic Christmas style. This section of the backdrop photographs beautifully from every angle and instantly adds warmth to any video or picture.

The Christmas tree on this backdrop is full of texture and charm. The oversized roses, glittery snowflakes, metallic ornaments, and frosted greenery make it look lush and full from top to bottom. The deep burgundy mixed with champagne and cream tones gives it a high-end, elegant look that stands out so beautifully in photos.

When you step back and take in the entire backdrop, it’s truly breathtaking. The fireplace, the windows, the lush tree—every part blends together into the perfect holiday vignette. This has quickly become one of our favorite spots to film in the crafting room because no matter where you frame the shot, it looks like a cozy Christmas wonderland.

Now that Christmas is over, we needed to switch out the backdrops!

This evergreen forest backdrop instantly creates a cozy, outdoor feel. The soft twinkle lights add warmth and depth, making photos feel magical without being too busy. We love using this one for seasonal decor, Christmas crafts, and cozy winter projects. Since we are The Shabby Tree, its okay that we do trees year round!
