If you love creating fun and unique items, then you’ll love using WoodUbend. This product is so much fun to use and helps give items a unique look. I decided to use some WoodUbend on a glass terrarium from Walmart. I’m hoping to create a one-of-a-kind glass piece that can be used in a variety of ways.

You can use any glass jar you’d like for this project. The glass terrarium I’m using is from Walmart, and you can find it by clicking the link below.

You’ll need to heat the WoodUbend with a good heat gun. Once heated, the WoodUbend will become very flexible.

Once you have the WoodUbend heated, you can cut it to size with scissors.

You’ll want to add wood glue to the back side of the WoodUbend.

Be sure to cover the entire back side with wood glue.

Once you have the glue added, place the WoodUbend onto the glass jar. I started by adding it around the top rim of the jar. This step takes a little time and patience as you shape the WoodUbend and secure it into place.

You can continue using the heat gun to keep the WoodUbend flexible as you shape it around the jar.

Once I had the top piece in place, I used another style of WoodUbend around the bottom area of the jar.

I cut two pieces, each measuring 21 inches long.

You’ll follow the same process with this WoodUbend. I’ll be adding one strip to the front of the jar and the other strip to the back.

Once I had the front and back pieces in place, I added the remaining two strips to each side of the jar. These created the appearance of arches around the jar.

The next step is to paint the jar, leaving the arches unpainted. I used Coffee Latte acrylic paint by FolkArt.

I applied the paint to both the glass and the WoodUbend. The next step is to add some gold accents to the WoodUbend. For this step, I’ll be using Byzantine Gold Posh Chalk and Pigment Infusor from WoodUbend.
You’ll mix small amounts of the two products together and then apply the mixture to the WoodUbend.

The last step is to fill your jar with some greenery and a candle. This creates a beautiful decorative piece that can be displayed throughout your home.

This turned out amazing and can easily be changed out for different seasons and holidays. I hope you’ll get creative and give WoodUbend a try.
The WoodUbend pieces that I used will be available on our website as of Friday, June 5th, but if you want to check out the pigment and the pigment infusor that I used, you can click here: https://woodubend.com/product-category/posh-chalk/pigments/ref/30/
