Walmart has their plastic pumpkins out and I’m super excited to give one a makeover. These pumpkins are less than $2.00 and they are so easy to get creative with. I’ve decided to use some of our upholstery fabric that we have on our website for this fun and easy makeover.

You’ll find the list of supplies that I’ll be using for this makeover down below.
1. One plastic pumpkin from Walmart
2. Hot glue
3. Scissors
4. Upholstery fabric from our website
5. Paper for a pattern
6. Bling chain from Totally Dazzle
7. Moss
8. Tree branch for stem

The first step is to create a pattern from the pumpkin. You’ll want to place some paper over the pumpkin and press along the lines of the pumpkin.

The next step is to cut the pattern out. You’ll use this pattern to trace onto the upholstery fabric.

You’ll want to trace the pattern and then cut out the strips.
You can find the fabric here: https://theshabbytreeboutique.com/floral-upholstery-fabric/

Once you have the strips cut out you’ll then start glueing them into the pumpkin. I’m slightly over lapping the strips as I glue them onto the pumpkin.

You’ll want to create a pattern for the top.

The next step is to cut the fabric and glue to the top of the pumpkin.

Once you have the fabric glued in place you’ll then want to cut out a few of the flowers and leaves.

You’ll want to glue the moss and stem onto the pumpkin and then glue the flowers in place.

The last step is to add the bling chain going down each strip of fabric. I used hot glue to add the bling chain.
You can find the bling chain here: https://www.totallydazzled.com/collections/rhinestone-chains?ref=16

This pumpkin was very easy to make and will look great any where in your home. I hope you’ll get creative and give this pumpkin a try.
