I have been experimenting with Designer Finishes by DecoArt and I wanted to give it a try on a wooden carrier that I recently purchased. The Designer Finishes come in a variety of finishes but I will be using the Salt Wash Beach finish. If you are following The Shabby Tree then you know I usually stick to a lot of neutral colors when crafting so this will be something different for me.

The supplies I will be using are:

1. DecoArt Designer Finishes (salt wash beach)

2. Paint brush

3. Sanding sponge

4. Wooden carrier

You can find the DecoArt Designer Finishes through my affiliate link here: https://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-100329937-13492653?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.michaels.com%2Fdecoart-designer-finishes-salt-wash-beach-kit%2F10656955.html%3Fr%3Dg&cjsku=10656955

You will have four bottles in your pack of designer finishes. The first step will be to paint the wooden carrier with the Vintage Effects white.

Once the white is dry you will then mix the Bahama Blue and Texture Sand Medium together.

You will add this over the white but do not completely cover the white. I added it here and there as you will see in the photos below.

You will then add some of the turquoise colored Vintage Effect Wash.

The last step is to add more of the white Vintage Effect Wash over the whole box.

Adding the white Vintage Effect Wash will help to tone down all of the turquoise.

I used the sanding sponge to ruff up some of the edges. This product is very easy to use and It has step by step directions on the label. I love how my carrier turned out and I hope you will get creative and give this a try.
