I’m trying to get a head start on my Fall and Halloween decorations. We create a lot of the decorations that I use in my home which is why I like to start early. I tried to keep my dining room a little simple this year and I love the final look.
When you walk into my home my dining room is on your right. I have a smaller front room that is open to my dining room. I treat both rooms as one open room.
I always like to keep my table simple and clean because we sit at it a lot.
I found an old wooden box at an antique store that I fill with battery operated candles and greenery.
I added some of our pumpkins that we have on our website to the box for a touch of Fall decor.
I have a buffet in my dining room that we use a lot for food and desserts when we have a get together. This buffet is from one of our local antique stores.
To keep it simple I just added a few skeleton heads to the buffet and an amazing crystal ball that I purchased from Home Goods.
The front room is where I added the pops of orange and vintage decorations.
I added the pumpkin that we made here at The Shabby Tree to the top of my faux fireplace.
You can see how we made her right here https://theshabbytree.com/diy-vintage-pumpkin-girl-2/
We use a garden flag to create the fun vintage canvas.
We made the pillows from a table runner.
I love how all the decorations blend in with each other.
I hope you enjoyed my decorations as much as I do. Your home should be your happy place and you should decorate it how you like.
