I found myself in Target scrolling up and down the party isles. Target has a fun selection of party decorations that can be changed up and used different ways. I came across a banner of flowers that we can very easily change into a bouquet of flowers.

The supplies that I’ll be using are:

1. Two garlands from Target

2. Hot glue

3. Cardboard

4. Sticks from the yard

5. Paint brush

6. Scissors

7. Americana acrylic paint by DecoArt ( Hauser Light Green)

8. Yard clippers

9. Burlap ribbon

The first step is to remove the flowers from the string.

These can easily be pulled off of the string.

You’ll want to cut a piece of cardboard in the shape of a bouquet. I placed the flowers onto the cardboard to help me decide how big to cut the cardboard. Once you have the cardboard cut you’ll then cut the sticks to the correct size for the stems.

You’ll glue the sticks to the front and back side of the cardboard.

Once you have the sticks all glued in place you’ll then paint them as shown in photo above.

Once the sticks are painted it’s then time to start glueing the flowers onto the cardboard.

I started at the bottom and worked my way up.

I decided to add one more stick to the back side to help support the flowers.

I added some burlap ribbon around the stems.

I love how easy these are to make and decided to give another banner a try. These bouquets can be placed any where in your home and make a fun decoration. I hope you’ll get creative and give this a try.
