I have been trying to create some fall decorations with items that you might already have in your home. It seems like we have all been ordering more things online lately which means you all probably have some cardboard boxes. This might not be for everyone but you can easily create some fun and unique pumpkins out of a box.
The supplies you will need are:
1. Cardboard box (you can use any size box that you want)
2. Spray paint or acrylic paint
3. Box cutter
4. Packing tape
5. Stick for stem
6. Spanish moss
The first set is to cut the flaps off one end of your box. I want the bottom of my box to be open.
I taped the top part of the box shut and then I began to paint my box. I am using a spray paint for this box.
Once your box is painted you will need to cut out a face for your pumpkin. I drew a face onto the box and then used the box cutter to cut it out.
I want my pumpkins to be rustic looking so I added a stain over them. I also painted one with orange acrylic paint. You can use any color or type of paints you want for these pumpkins.
Once my box pumpkins were painted I then added a stem and some Spanish moss to the top.
These are so easy to make and I just love how you can create a variety of sizes.
I used a stick for one stem and then I covered a pill bottle with jute for my other stem.
