Ok I love wearing decorative t-shirts for all different holidays. I like things to be different and unique. If you have some material or a few doilies you will want to pull them out and give this t-shirt idea a try.

The supplies I will be using are:

1. T-shirt of your choice

2. Surebonder fabric glue for your hot glue gun

3. Scissors

4. A silicone mat or piece of cardboard (you need something to put up between the t-shirt)

5. Material or doilies

6. Ribbons

I will be using a basic long sleeve t-shirt from Walmart.

You will need to place something up in the t-shirt to prevent the surebonder fabric glue from going through the top layer of the t-shirt onto the back layer. I am using a pink silicone mat that I purchased from Amazon.

You now need to decide what you want to put onto your t-shirt. I am cutting out a few hearts from a pink chenille bedspread.

I cut out two different size hearts and I will apply them onto the t-shirt with the surebonder glue.

You will want to be sure to put the surebonder glue around the edges of your cut out.

I overlapped the smaller heart onto the edge of the bigger heart.

I added a few ribbons and doilies onto the smaller heart. These are so easy to make and there are so many different ways to create them. We have made these before here at The Shabby Tree. You will want to wash the t-shirt inside out and hang dry. I have washed mine numerous times and the glue does just fine. If your going to ask me about placing the item in the dryer I will have to say that is up to you. I do plug mine in the dryer and they do just fine but remember it is a glue.

I also made a few using doilies. This is an amazing heart shape doily that I found at a thrift store.

I hope you will have fun and get creative!
