I love decorating my home throughout the year for all holidays and seasons. Now that spring and summer are approaching I wanted something fun to add throughout my home. I seem to have a lot of doilies and I knew I could create a fun bird nest that I can use throughout my home for decoration.
The supplies you will need are:
1. Doilies
2. Stiffy
3. A small bowl
4. Balloons or a round curved item such as a large plastic egg
5. Paint brush
6. Something to cover your work space (I’m using some foil)
First thing to do is cover your work space and pour some of the stiffy into a small bowl.
Dip your doily into the stiffy and then squeeze the excess out.
Once you have your doily completely covered with the stiffy you will want to spread it out over the plastic egg.
You can take a paint brush and do one more coat of stiffy to the doily.
You can do this same process by using a balloon.
I placed the balloon into a small bowl so that the balloon will stay in place.
Once the doilies are all dried and stiffened you can remove them from the plastic egg and balloon.

These are fun to add throughout your home for spring decorations.
