I am always trying to come up with ways to make a variety of ornaments for my trees. The Dollar Tree had a pack of bracelets that I knew would work perfect.
You can find plastic bracelets in all different shapes which is why this works so well. You will usually find these bracelets in the kid section. The bracelets I am using are shaped like flowers.
The supplies you will need are:
1. Plastic bangle bracelets (I am using the ones from Dollar Tree)
2. Twine
3. Muslin Material
4. Scissors
5. Glue
6. Ink pen
7. Burlap or bling embellishment
The first step is to trace your bracelet onto the muslin material. I am using muslin material but you can use any material you would like.
Once you have the bracelet traced you then cut it out.
Next step is to cover your bracelet with your twine. I am doing this by applying hot glue to the bracelet and then wrapping the twine.
You will want to make sure you cover the whole bracelet with the twine.
I want to hang this ornament on my tree so I am making a hanger from twine.
Now it is time to glue your material onto the bracelet.
I want to add a center to my flower. You can cut a small circle of burlap or you add a bling embellishment.
These are so easy to make and can be created in a variety of ways. I hope you will all give it a try and use your creativity.
