I always like to go to the Dollar Tree and try to find items to get creative with. We are always trying to create unique items here at The Shabby Tree. It is time to start thinking about Fall which is why a set of gift boxes screamed pumpkins to me. This set of three gift boxes from the Dollar Tree can easily be created into a set of pumpkins.
The supplies I will be using are:
1. One set of gift boxes from the Dollar Tree
2. Hot Glue
3. Gravel
4. Paint brush
5. Wooden stems
6. Spanish moss
7. Burnt Orange paint
The first step is to add a handful of gravel to each box.
You will want to add hot glue to the inside rim of the lid of the box to glue the box shut.
Once you have all three boxes glued shut you will then paint the boxes.
Once the boxes are painted you will then glue them together as shown in photos below.
Once all three boxes are glued together you will then glue on the stems and spanish moss.
You can leave them as is or you can wrap raffia or ribbon around them.
These are very easy to make and will look so cute any where in your home. I hope you will get creative and give this a try.
