I love decorating for every holiday and season. Spring and Easter will be here before you know it and I wanted to make something that I can use on my trees and in my dough bowls. You will love how easy these bunny heads are to make.

The supplies you will need are:

1. A pattern (I’m using a puzzle bunny head that I got from Michael’s)

2. Felt

3. Elmer’s glue

4. Surebonder fabric glue

5. Stuffing

6. Scissors

7. Paint brush

8. Paint ( I’m using a black and pink paint)

9. Glitter ( optional)

10. Wire

11. Pen or pencil

The first thing you will need to do is trace your pattern onto your felt.

Once your pattern is traced you will need to cut it out. I am cutting out two. You will need two pieces that we will be gluing together.

Once your pieces are cut out you will want to start glueing them together.

You will want to glue all the way around but be sure to leave about an inch opening.

I found it easiest to leave your opening at bottom of bunny head.

This is where you will want to start adding your stuffing.

You can use a stick or end of your paint brush to push the stuffing up into the ears. Once your bunny head is completely stuffed you will want to glue your opening shut.

Now that your bunny head is completely stuffed it is time to paint your face.

I start with the ears by adding a little pink paint to the center of ears.

You do not have to paint your face the way I am but I find this very quick and easy. I added pink to the ears and then I made a pink nose.

I am using black paint to make the eyes and mouth.

Once you have your bunnies face complete you can leave your bunny heads as is. I wanted to add a little sparkle to mine. I am going to cover mine with a sparkle glitter.

I am painting Elmer’s glue over my whole bunny head. You will want to be sure to give a thick coat of Elmer’s glue so that it hold your glitter.

Once you have your bunny head head completely covered with the Elmer’s glue it is time to sprinkle your glitter.

You can add these bunny heads to a dough bowl or hang them on your spring tree. I added some wire to make a hanger.

These are really easy to make and you will love how they turn out. I will be hanging them on my easter tree and using a few in my dough bowl.
