It is time to start decorating for summer and It is always fun to add flowers. We have created a variety of flowers here at The Shabby Tree but I have found a way to create a quick and easy decorative flower.

The supplies I will be using are:

1. Two packs of the Dollar Tree cookies sheets

2. One pack of the pot and pan protectors

3. Scissors

4. Hot glue

5. Lace colored chalky finish paint by DecoArt

6. Paint brush

7. Ink pen

I will be covering the back side of each pot and pan protector with the cookie sheets.

You will trace each pot and pan protector onto the cookie sheets. The larger pot and pan protector will have to be traced in sections.

You will cut out your pieces and glue them to the back side of each pot and pan protector.

Be sure to overlap your pieces on the larger pot and pan protectors. You want to over lap the center section so that the pot and pan protector will not be floppy between the pieces.

Once I had the back side of all three pot and pan protectors covered with the cookie sheet I then added some of the chalky finish paint to the front sides.

Once all three pieces were painted I then glued them together in the center.

Be sure to alternate the petals as shown in photo above.

I used my paint container to trace 2 small circles onto a cookie sheet.

I cut each circle out and added small slices all around them.

I glued both into the center of the flower. Once I had both glued into the center I pulled the slices of the top piece further into the center.

I glued a clothes pin to the back but this is an optional step.

It looks very cute clipped to my garland. This flower is very easy to make and I hope you will give it a try.
