If you are following The Shabby Tree then you know I love using message boards. We have made a variety of message boards here at The Shabby Tree but I want to make one using some of my peek and stick wallpaper. This will be very quick and easy to make.

The supplies I will be using are:

1. One sheet of foam board from the Dollar Tree

2. Rust-Oleum chalkboard paint from Home Depot

3. Paint brush

4. Scissors

5. Peel and stick wallpaper (you can find my amazon affiliate link down below)

The first step is to paint the foam board with the chalkboard paint.

I gave this a good 3 coats with drying time in between each coat.

I then cut the peel and stick wallpaper into strips. This wallpaper is so easy to use because it already has even strips that you can cut. I am cutting this into strips because I want to create a frame around the foam board.

You will peel the back off and stick the strips around the foam board.

You can easily create this message board as big or as small as small as you want. This can also be done on a wall in your home. You can paint the chalkboard paint onto the wall and use the peel and stick wallpaper to create an easy and quick frame.

I hope you will have fun, get creative and give this a try.
