I was shopping in Home Goods and I came across some beautiful table runners. They have a variety of table runners and I felt like they were too pretty to lay across a table. I want to get creative and turn one into a beautiful wall art.
The supplies I will be using are:
1. One piece of framed wood from Hobby Lobby
2. Tacky glue
3. Paint brush
4. Scissors
5. One table runner ( I purchased this table runner from Home Good)
This is a beautiful table runner and I just know it is going to make a beautiful wall hanging.
I cut the table runner in half which will allow me to make two wall hangings.
You will want to be sure to only use the top layer of the table runner.
I am cutting out the image but I want to create a rugged and frayed look.
Once you have the image cut how you want you will then add the tacky glue to back side.
Flip the image over and place it onto the board. Be sure to press down onto the fabric. You can add more tacky glue under the edges if they need it.
This is so easy to make and I just love how it turned out. This can be placed on your fireplace mantel or hung on a wall.
