I love giving small gifts for all different holidays and seasons. You can give a gift so many different ways and I always love finding a fun and unique way. Easter is right around the corner and I thought it would be fun to make some unique goody bags.

The supplies that I’ll be using are:

1. Wax paper

2. Napkins

3. Elmer’s glue stick

4. Scissors

5. Paint brush

6. Americana acrylic paint by DecoArt and the color is Cotton Candy

7. Decoupage by DecoArt

8. Pink embroidery thread and needle

I cut two pieces of wax paper to be a 9in x 9in square. You can cut your wax paper any size that you want.

I then removed the back layers off of the napkin.

I ripped the napkin to the size that I want. You can find the napkins that I’m using on European Excellency. You can find the link down below. Be sure to use Code Barb at checkout for a 10% discount.

Once I had my napkin cut I then added some of the decoupage to one sheet of the wax paper.

I placed the napkin on top of the decoupage and then added more decoupage over the napkin.

Once you have the napkin added to one of the sheets of wax paper you’ll then add the Elmer’s glue stick to the other sheet of wax paper.

You’ll only add the glue stick around the edges as shown in photo in photo above. Be sure to add a lot of glue.

Place the other sheet if wax paper on top and press down on all of the edges.

Be sure to only add the glue to three of the sides. You want to have an opening at the top.

My glue is purple but dries clear.

I added some of the cotton candy colored paint around all of the sides.

I added some crinkle paper and candy to the inside.

I added more glue and closed the opening.

You can add any type of gift to these bags.

I sewed up all four sides with some embroidery thread. You need to be careful not to rip the wax paper when sewing the sides.

These are very easy to make and make a fun way to give a gift.

I hope you’ll get creative and give this a try.
