Summer is almost here, and you know what that means… more time outside and more reasons to get creative! I’ve been having so much fun bringing a few simple pieces to life, and I couldn’t wait to share this one with you.
We have the cutest galvanized shovel hitting the website this Friday, and I just had to show you two easy ways to style it—whether you hang it on your door or use it as a fun wall decoration. You’re going to love how simple (and adorable) this turns out!

I am loving this shovel! It’s such a fun base to get creative with, and that built-in basket makes it so easy to switch things up for every season. You can keep it simple or dress it up—either way, it’s going to look amazing!

I started out by creating a simple base for both projects using moss. It couldn’t be easier—I just filled the basket, and it instantly gave the shovel a nice full look to build on!

Next, I grabbed some geraniums that will be hitting the website tomorrow and tucked them right into the basket. It’s such an easy way to add a pop of color and bring everything to life!

I finished this look off with a vintage American flag, and it turned into the perfect Americana decoration! I love how the bright red geraniums really pop and pair so well with the cozy, classic feel of the flag.

For this next look, I wanted something with a little more color that really pops! A wreath is perfect for this because it stands out from a distance and instantly catches your eye.

I used stuff from our website to complete this look! You can find the links to what I used here:

- Purple – Fluttering Butterfly: https://theshabbytreeboutique.com/purple-fluttering-butterfly/?searchid=776045&search_query=flutter
I hope this gives you a little inspiration to get creative with this fun shovel! I love how easy it is to switch out the look with just a few simple pieces, making it perfect for every season and style.
Whether you go for something classic and cozy or bright and bold, you really can’t go wrong with this one. Be sure to grab yours when it hits the website, and let me know which look is your favorite! Happy crafting, friends!
