I was looking through my craft supplies and realized that I had a few of the wall tiles from the Dollar Tree. We have used these tiles for a few of our diy’s in the past and they are very easy to get creative with. I thought it would be fun to use two of them and create a fun hanging pocket.

The supplies that I’ll be using are:

1. Two wall tiles from the Dollar Tree

2. Hot glue

3. Two 8.5in x 11in sheet of card stock paper

4. Rub’n Buff ( antique gold and spanish copper)

5. Wire

6. Paint brush

The first step is to remove the plastic back sheet off of each tile.

You’ll pull the sheet up at the yellow arrow in the corner.

The next step is to add the sheet of card stock paper to the center of each tile as shown in photo above. Be sure to line the card stock paper up at one end and in the center of the tile.

The sticky paper will attach both tiles together forming your pocket but I decided to add some hot glue for extra support. I’ll be adding flowers to my pocket and I’m not sure that the sticky paper will hold the tiles together well enough once I add the flowers .

I added some of the Spanish Copper Rub’n Buff to both sides of the pocket first.

Once I had the Spanish Copper on both sides I then added touches of the Antique Gold Rub’n Buff.

I added a piece of wire for a hanger.

This is so quick and easy to make and I just love how it turned out. I added some flowers that I bought from Hobby Lobby. This will look great hanging any where in your home or on your front door.
