Do you like to give your kids an Easter Basket filled with goodies? I have a great idea to get your kids involved and keep them busy. An Easter basket does not have to be just a basket. There are so many ways to create a fun container to hold your kids goodies or even eggs for an egg hunt.

There are so many ways you can create a fun container for your kids. You will first need to decide what kind of container you will want to use. I am using a cardboard box and a coffee can.

Some other supplies you might want to use are :

1. Spray paint

2. Acrylic paint

3. Napkins

4. Material

The first thing I did was spray paint the outside of my coffee can and cardboard box.

You can have the kids get involved and paint the inside of the box.

There are so many things you can use to decorate your containers. I used yarn pom poms for the top of the box.

I glued the pom poms to the top of the box with hot glue.

You can use napkins to decorate the outside of the container. I cut Easter napkins and decoupaged it onto the front of the coffee can.

You can have your kids draw or color a picture and decoupage it to the container. Material is a great item to use to cover a container. I used a piece of a chenille bedspread to cover a paint can.

You can add straw or tissue paper to the inside of your container.

The box I used has openings for handles but I added a wire to the coffee can for a handle.

You can paint their name onto the container or add a cute hang tag.
