The Dollar Tree has been putting out their Americana decor and I came across some fun table runners. These table runners come in 3 different colors and I thought it would be fun to get creative with them.
We can use these table runners to create some quick and easy light up fire crackers. You will find the list of supplies that I’ll be using for these fire crackers down below.
- One roll of each color of the table runners
- Elmer’s spray adhesive
- Pipe cleaners in red , blue and silver
- Hot glue
- Scissors
- Battery operated lights
- One 7.25” glass vase from the Dollar Tree
- Two 9.5” glass vase from Walmart
The table runner will have two sheets to it. I used tape to separate the two sheets.
You’ll be wrapping the table runner around the glass vases so you’ll need to measure the vase to the table runner. The red and white table runner will go on the taller vases and the blue table runner on the smaller vase. Once you measure the table runner you’ll want to cut them to size.
Once you have the table runners cut to size you’ll then add the spray adhesive to the glass vase.
Once you have the table runners wrapped around the glass vase you’ll then cut a piece for the top.
Once the glass vases are covered you’ll then add the pipe cleaners to the top.
I folded the pipe cleaners in half and wrapped a piece of one pipe cleaner around the bottom of them all. Bend the bottom and glue them to the top.
These are very easy to make and will look great any where in your home.
