I recently went to Target and found a display box in the Dollar Spot. They had a lot of great items but as soon as I saw the display box I knew I had to get it. The display box will work perfect for creativity a nativity.
Some other items that I’ll be using are:
1. Bling pieces from our Shabby Tree bling pack
2. Hot glue
3. Three round wooden clothes pins
4. One wooden star cut out
5. Hand saw
6. Spanish moss
The wooden shadow box was $5.00 from Target.
I cut one of the wooden clothes pins as shown in photo above.
You will glue the clothes pins to the wooden star as shown in photo above.
The top half section of the box comes off. This is a small opening and my hand won’t fit down into the box. I dropped hot glue down into the box and then placed the clothes pins down into the box onto the hot glue.
You will want to hold the clothes pins in place until the hot glue starts to set.
I added some Spanish moss and used a small dowel to move it in place.
I glued one of the tree embellishments and cross embellishments onto the box.
