We recently made an amazing angel ornament using a variety of noodles. There seems to be so many different things that you can create out noodles. You all know that I love trees of all kinds and I thought it would be fun to create a small tree using shell noodles.

The supplies I will be using are:

1. Hot glue

2. Scissors

3. Card stock paper ( my sheet is 8”x8”)

4. Paint brush

5. Snow-Tex byDecoArt

6. Pistachio colored spray paint

7. A piece of string or twine

8. Ink pen

9. Shell noodles

I cut a piece of twine 8 inches long which is the same length of my paper.

I held the twine at one corner of the paper and then held the ink pen at the other end of the twine. You will move the twine and ink pen from corner to the other corner marking your curve.

You will now cut out your piece to form a cone.

I used hot glue to hold the cone in place as shown in photo above.

You will want to spray paint the cone before glueing on the noodles.

Once the paint is dry you will then start glueing on the noodles. You will want to start at the bottom of the cone.

You will continue glueing on the noodles one row at a time.

Once you get the noodles all glued on you will then add more spray paint.

I wanted to add a snow effect so I used a paint brush to add on some snow-tex.

This tree is very easy to make and you can make it any color or size. I hope you will get creative and give this a try.
