I love making a lot of my ornaments for my Christmas tree. I knew when I saw this small tinsel Santa boot in Dollar Tree that it would make a good ornament.
The supplies you will need are:
1. Tinsel Santa boot from the Dollar Tree
2. Black chunky yarn
3. Cotton balls ( I have coffee stained my coffee balls)
4. Scissors
5. Glue gun
6. Small greenery sprig
The first thing I did was remove all the tinsel from the boot.
This will give you a bottom to your boot. Now you will start to wrap around the base of the boot.
Once the base of your boot is covered with your chunky yarn it is time to glue your cotton balls to the top rim part. I like to stretch the cotton balls apart so that it gives you a better look while wrapping around the top of boot.
Once you have glued all the cotton balls to the top of your boot then you just place your greenery sprig into the boot and your done.
You now have a cute Santa boot that can be used as an ornament or stand as a decoration throughout your home. Those boots are also a cute idea to fill will candy for a party favor. I hope you all enjoy this idea and give it a try.
