The stores are starting to put out their Christmas decorations and of course I had to look. I picked up a few boxes of clear glass ornaments from Hobby Lobby that I want to get creative with.

These glass ornaments are some what flat which makes them perfect to craft with.

The supplies that I’ll be using are:

1. Glass ornaments from Hobby Lobby

2. Decoupage by DecoArt

3. Paint brush

4. Printed rice paper from European Excellency

5. Cream chalky finish paint by DecoArt

6. Silver glitter

7. Scissors

You can use any type of paper or napkin for this craft. I have a link down below for European Excellency. Be sure to use Code Barb at checkout for a 10% discount.

You will want to cut your image out and then add some decoupage to the ornament. Place your image onto over the decoupage but be sure to have the image facing into the ornament.

Once you have the image on the ornament you’ll add more decoupage. You can use your finger to rub out any creases that you might have .

I painted some of the cream chalky finish paint around my image.

I added some decoupage around the edge of the front side and then sprinkled on some glitter.

These are very easy to make and there are so many different ways you can get creative with this.

You can add glitter or mica flakes to the inside of the ornament. I hope you’ll get creative and give this a try.
