I seem to always buy different snack bags of chips for work and I wanted to find a way to get creative with the bags. After looking at the bags I decided that we can easily turn a few into some fun and very easy Christmas ornaments.

The supplies that I’ll be using are:

1. Recycled snack bags

2. Hot glue

3. Poly-fil

4. Silver tinsel

5. Scissors

6. Silver glitter

7. Elmer’s glue

8. Paint brush

9. Red chalky finish paint by DecoArt

10. Polyurethane spray

11. Stickers from Amazon

Once the bag is empty you’ll wipe the bag out and fill it with the poly-fil.

You’ll glue the top of the bag shut and then paint the bag. I placed a strand of tinsel into each side of the bag when glueing it shut. The tinsel will act as a hanger for the ornament.

It took about 3 coats of paint to cover the bag. Once the paint was dry I gave it a light coat of polyurethane spray.

I placed a sticker onto the front of the bag. You can find the exact stickers that I ordered on my Amazon store front by clicking the link down below.

I used some Elmer’s glue and a fine silver glitter around the sticker.

You can make these with any type of snack bags. I hope you’ll get creative and give this fun ornament a try.
