Christmas is right around the corner and it’s time to start decorating for it. If you’re part of The Shabby Tree then you already know I love the Grinch. I recently got a green Christmas tree from Hobby Lobby that I want to use for a Grinch tree.

This tree will be going on my front porch. The first thing I did was add a red ball ornament to the tip.

I want to create an actual Grinch to stand with the tree. Amazon has a Grinch costume that I can place over one of my Halloween skeletons. You can find the exact Grinch costume that I ordered by clicking my Amazon referral link down below.

I placed a 2”x4” piece of wood down the center of the skeleton. Once I had the wood in place I then put on the costume.

I used clips to tighten the waist on the pants.

I added some brown shipping paper to the costume to give it some fullness.

I added the mask and hat to the top and then J added some bulb sprigs to the tree. You can find these sprigs in Walmart.

This was so much fun to make and it looks amazing on my front porch. I hope this will give you some ideas on how to have fun when decorating for the holidays.
