Christmas is right around the corner and it’s time to start creating some decorations. I thought it would be fun to create a fun and unique holly wreath. This wreath will look great hanging any where in your home.

The supplies that I’ll be using are:

1. One 14 inch wire wreath from the Dollar Tree

2. Green chunky yarn

3. Scissors

4. Hot glue

5. Red pom pom’s

6. Felt sheets

7. Paint brush

8. Avocado colored acrylic paint by DecoArt

The first step is to wrap the chunky yarn around the wreath. I tied a knot at the starting point and then continued wrapping.

Once the wreath is completely covered you will cut the yarn and secure the end into the wreath.

I added a small amount of hot glue and then shoved the end down into the wreath.

I created a small pattern for the holly leaf and then traced the leaf onto the felt sheet.

I wanted my holly to match the color of my chunky yarn. The Avocado colored acrylic paint by DecoArt was the perfect color.

I purchased my olive colored chunky yarn from Hobby Lobby.

The next step is to glue the leaves and the red pom pom’s to the wreath.

Once I had the leaves and pom pom’s glued in place I decided to add some glitter. I used a find Aloe Vera colored glittered from 143 Vinyl. You can find my referral link down below for the glitter.

This wreath was so quick and easy to make. I hope you’ll get creative and give this wreath a try.
