Fall is quickly approaching and I wanted to find a way to make an easy and unique pumpkin. The Dollar Tree has plastic bowls that I think we can easily use for a unique pumpkin. These bowls will allow us to create a pumpkin that can be used two different ways.

The supplies that I’ll be using are:

1. Two plastic bowls from the Dollar Tree

2. One decorative knob

3. Drill and drill bit

4. Rustic Orange colored spray paint by Rust-oleum

5. Polyurethane spray

6. Maple colored Gel stain by DecoArt

7. Paint brush

I found these bowls in the party section in my Dollar Tree.

I spray painted the outside of both bowls.

Once the spray paint was dry I then added a coat of a polyurethane spray.

Once the bowls are dry you’ll then want to drill a hole into the center of one bowl. Be sure to drill the hole the same diameter as the screw to your knob.

Once you have the hole drilled you’ll then add your knob.

I added some Gel stain to both bowls.

This pumpkins is so quick and easy to make. I love how it can be used as a candy dish or a light up pumpkin.

You can add a battery operated candle or a strand of battery operated lights to have the pumpkin light up. I hope you’ll get creative and give this pumpkin a try.
