I love adding Christmas decorations throughout my whole house. It’s always fun to add a touch of Christmas to your kitchen. There are all types of decorations that you can add to your kitchen for Christmas. I thought it would be fun to turn a simple sifter into a fun light up Christmas decoration.
You can find a simple sifter in your local Walmart for less thank $5.00.
Some other supplies that I’ll be using are greenery sprigs, bottle brush trees, battery operated lights, Spanish moss, plug in candle stick and spray paint.
I used a red spray paint on one sifter and I used a Warm Caramel colored spray paint on another.
I added some Maple colored gel stain over the Warm Caramel colored sifter.
I gave both sifters a coat of a polyurethane spray.

I added some greenery sprigs and a fun little mouse sprig from Walmart.
I added some bottle brush trees to a few of the sifters.
I bought some battery operated lights from Walmart and added them to the bottle brush trees.
These sifters are so quick and easy to make and there are so many different ways to make them. I hope you’ll get creative and give this fun decoration a try.
