I’m not a big wreath person but I have been wanting to make a wreath that I can incorporate some of my doilies on. I like to make things look old and vintage and I knew a mop head was something that I can coffee stain so I thought I would give it a try and make it into a wreath.

The supplies you will need are:

1. A mop head (I got my mop head from Amazon which is for a spin mop)

2. Scissors

3. Cardboard

4. Glue gun

5. Ink pen

6. Doilies

7. Bling embellishments

The first thing I did was coffee stain my mop head. I just use instant coffee mixed with water. I dip the mop head into the coffee, ring it out and placed it into my dryer with and old towel to dry. I put old towels into dryer with it to help absorb the coffee.

You will want to take your mop head and trace it into your piece of cardboard. You want to cut out a circle so that you can glue the mop head into it. You also want to make sure you trace and cut out the center circle.

You then want to glue your mop head onto your cardboard circle. Once you have the mop glued to the cardboard you will need to continue glueing all the mop strands to cardboard. You want your mop strands all secured to cardboard so they don’t flop forward when hanging your wreath up.

Once your mop head is completely secured to your cardboard it is time to add your doilies and embellishments to the front.

This is a fun and easy wreath to make. You can coffee stain the mop head as I did or leave it white as is. I hope you all give this a try and get creative!
