If you’ve been around here for any amount of time, you know I love a good cozy spot—and let me tell you, we just brought home a brand new sofa that I am so excited about. Finding something that’s comfortable, practical, and still fits your style isn’t always easy, but this new sofa from La-Z-Boy checked all the boxes for us. It has already changed the feel of our space, and I can’t wait to share why we chose it and all the little details I’m loving.
Our living room opens right up to the kitchen and only has two full walls, so our layout options were pretty limited. I love the look of a sectional because it helps give a more closed-in, cozy feeling, and Mr. Wally really wanted recliners—so we decided on a sectional with recliners, and it was the perfect solution.
The color of the sofa works beautifully with our new floors, which was very important to me.
Because of the layout, we also didn’t want cords running across the walkways. One thing I love about this sofa is that it’s battery powered.
You can charge the battery while it’s still attached, or remove it and charge it elsewhere, which makes things so convenient!
We are especially loving the cupholders and the storage drawer at the bottom—those little details make such a difference.
The rug you see is just temporary for now; eventually, we’d love to switch it out for something that brings in more of the tan tones.
This sofa will be perfect for gatherings and fits our family so well!
I personally love the taller backs—they make it incredibly comfortable.

Barb, again you nailed it. Your sectional is beautiful. It’s the first sectional that I have seen that is battery operated. I would absolutely love that feature and having recliners is a plus. Love the sectional. Looks very functional for all. Seen your Lola blanket that must be your spot. Lol.Think the rug looks good. Don’t wanna over kill on the tan tones. The rug breaks it up and adds character.
