I’ve finally finished decorating the inside of my home for Halloween this year, and I’m thrilled with how it turned out! This year, I decided to go with a playful ghost theme, which is a fun change from last year’s decor. From glowing ghost figures to hauntingly cute DIY accents, I’m so excited to share it with you. Let me know what you think of this year’s spooky setup!
We’re kicking off the tour in my kitchen, where I’ve added a playful Halloween touch! The first thing you’ll notice are the adorable ghost pillows I found at Home Goods. They sit perfectly on my kitchen chairs, adding a fun and cozy vibe to the space. These pillows bring just the right amount of spooky charm without being too over-the-top, making them a great way to incorporate Halloween decor into your kitchen. I love how they stand out against the neutral tones of the room
This year, I’m absolutely loving the disco ball trend for Halloween! You’ll find some eye-catching disco ball pieces scattered throughout my home, adding a modern and fun twist to the spooky season. In the living room, a sparkling disco ball skull sits on the coffee table, catching the light and creating a playful yet eerie vibe. I’ve also added disco ball pumpkins to my entryway for a festive and glitzy touch, and even a cute little ghost figure with a disco ball finish in the hallway. These pieces really bring a unique and unexpected shimmer to my Halloween decor!
As soon as I spotted these ghost candles at Home Goods, I knew they had to come home with me! They’re just the perfect blend of cute and spooky, with their soft flickering light adding a warm, cozy glow to any room. I’ve placed a few on my kitchen counter and scattered them around the living room, where they complement the rest of my ghost-themed decor. They’re subtle enough to fit in with everyday pieces, but still bring that fun Halloween spirit!
This year, I decided to keep my dining room decor more fall-focused with a classic pumpkin theme. The centerpiece features a beautiful arrangement of faux pumpkins in various sizes and colors, mixed with autumn leaves and rustic candle holders. The warm orange and gold tones create a cozy, inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for transitioning from Halloween to Thanksgiving. It’s a great way to embrace the season without going full spooky, and it balances out the more playful decor in other areas of the house.
I couldn’t resist adding a little ghostly charm to my coffee bar, which sits right in the dining room. A couple of cute ghost figurines are nestled among my coffee supplies, bringing a playful Halloween vibe to this cozy corner. I also added some mini ghost mugs that are perfect for sipping hot cocoa or coffee on cool fall mornings. It’s a small, subtle touch that ties in with the rest of the ghost theme throughout my home, making even my coffee bar ready for spooky season!
As you make your way around the corner from the dining room, you’ll enter my welcoming foyer. This space sets the tone for the rest of the home, blending fall warmth with Halloween whimsy. I’ve continued the ghost theme here with a few playful decorations that invite guests in with a touch of spooky charm.
This year, I thought it would be fun to add some playful ghosts going up my stairs! This addition brings a whimsical touch to the space and enhances the Halloween spirit throughout my home. It’s a charming way to make the staircase a fun focal point for guests as they arrive!
Once you turn the corner and head down the hallway, you’ll find yourself in the living room. This space is filled with cozy Halloween vibes, showcasing a delightful mix of decor that perfectly captures the spirit of the season.
You’ll see a delightful variety of ghosts throughout my home, each adding a unique touch to my Halloween decor. If you’re inspired by these ghostly creations, you can find directions for some of the DIY ghosts we made here at The Shabby Tree on our blog!
I hope you enjoyed this peek into my fun Halloween decor throughout my home! It’s always a joy to decorate with items that bring happiness and create a festive atmosphere. I encourage you to embrace the season and infuse your own unique style into your holiday decor!
