Toilet Paper Craft Using A Balloon

by blewis | Mar 24, 2025 | Easter/Spring, Everyday DIY, Home Decor | 10 comments

We’re always trying to find new fun and unique ways to get creative here at The Shabby Tree. I recently saw a fun idea using toilet paper that I want to try.
You will need some toilet paper, a balloon and water for this craft.
You’ll want to blow up your balloon and set it in a cup to stabilize the balloon.
You’ll want to place pieces of the toilet paper onto the balloon and then add water. I’m using a paint brush to add water to the toilet paper.
I did not count how many pieces of toilet paper I put onto the balloon. You want to be sure to add a good amount of toilet paper so that it will be sturdy and hard when you pop the balloon.
I want to make this look like a half of an egg so I’m not covering the entire balloon. You’ll want to let this toilet paper dry over night. Once the toilet paper is dry you’ll then pop the balloon. The balloon will deflate an easily separate from the toilet paper.
There are so many ways to get creative with this craft. I hope you’ll get creative and give this a try.

This is so cute with a small chick sitting in it. The candle is cute also but I like the chick. Will have to try this craft when I get a balloon. Thank you for the idea Barb!
