I’ve been going through my craft supplies and I came across some wooden stars. These wooden stars come as a set of three and I got them from Walmart at Christmas time. These stars are cute as is but I want to give them a little makeover.
I’ll be using some fabric , hot glue and scissors for this easy makeover.
These stars can be hung or they can stand up.
This set of stars was $16.97.
I’ll be giving my stars an Americana look. I’m tracing the large star onto a blue fabric with a small star print.
I traced the smaller two stars onto a red and white striped fabric.
Once I had the fabric stars cut out I then glued them to the wooden stars.
I removed the hanger attachment off of all three stars and then glued the fabric to the back side of each star. Be sure to have the printed side of the fabric facing forward.
These stars turned out so cute and will look great mixed in with my Americana decorations. I hope this will inspire you to get creative and give something a little makeover.
