I was in the Dollar Tree and I knew as soon as I saw this plastic bowl that it would make a fun flower for my yard. You can get creative and make these flowers in a variety of colors. I just love how easy they are to make and it would be a fun project to do with your kids.
The supplies you will need are:
1. Plastic bowl from the Dollar Tree
2. Drill
3. Small screws
4. Spray paint
5. Acrylic paint
6. Paint brush
7. Pruning sheets
8. Tree limbs
The first step is to spray paint your plastic bowls.
I used three different colors.
You will need to make sure you cover the back and front of the bowl. Once the spray paint is dry you will want to attach the tree limp to the back which will be the stem to your flower.
I am adding 2 screws to the center of the bowl. I will drill from the inside of the bowl.
Your screw should go through the front of the bowl and out the back attaching the tree limb.
Next I painted the inside circle of the bowl.
You will do the same process to all of your bowls.
Once all my flowers were done and dried I then sprayed a polyurethane protective spray on them.
