I was recently in the Dollar Tree and came across some cloche domes. These are plastic and I just know there will be so many ways to get creative with these. I want to turn these into decorative candle holders.
The supplies that I’ll be using are listed down below.
1. Three cloche domes from the Dollar Tree
2. Three metal candle holders from the Dollar Tree
3. E6000 clear glue
4. Water and sponge
5. Mirror effect spray paint by Rust-oleum
6. Vintage tile transfers from European Excellency
The first step is to remove the stickers from the cloche. Be sure to wash the cloche and remove any sticky residue before adding the spray paint.
You can discard the bottom of the cloche. The next step is to give each cloche a light cover of the mirror effect spray paint.
Once you have the spray paint added you’ll then add the transfers.
You can find these transfers on European Excellency by clicking my referral link down below. Be sure to use code Barb for a 10% discount.
You’ll trim the transfer and then peel off the clear sheet.
Add the transfer to the cloche with the opening at the top.
Add water with a sponge to the transfer. Once you can see the transfer come through you’ll then slide the white sheet off.
Once you have the transfers added you’ll then glue them to the candle sticks.
I used E6000 glue and added it to the top edge of the candle sticks.
I added some small battery operated candles.
These were so quick and easy to make and turned out amazing. I hope you’ll get creative and give these a try.
