I love getting creative, and I love giving things a makeover. It’s always fun to add a variety of unique items to your home. We always seem to be changing up our decor, which is why I thought it would be fun to get creative with a simple clipboard from Dollar Tree. This clipboard will allow you to easily change out photos or images for different holidays and seasons.

I picked up a simple clipboard from my local Dollar Tree.

You will find the list of supplies that I’ll be using down below.

2. Lace from our website

3. Ribbon from our website

4. Bling from our website

5. Gold Leaf Rub’n Buff

6. Mod Podge

7. Hot glue

8. Scissors

The first step is to add the lace to the clipboard. I decided to leave my lace a little larger and trim off the excess after attaching it to the clipboard.

I cut around the area where the clip is. This will allow the lace to sit better on the clipboard.

The next step is to add Mod Podge to the board. Be sure to apply a generous amount of Mod Podge to the clipboard.

Once the Mod Podge is on the clipboard, you’ll then add the lace. After the lace is in place, apply another layer of Mod Podge over the lace.

Once you have the Mod Podge added over the lace, set it aside to dry.

Once it’s dry, trim off the excess lace around the edges.

You can add some Rub ’n Buff to the clip section of the board. This is an optional step.

The last step is to create a bow to add over the clip section.

I cut about six strips of burlap ribbon and six strips of lace. You can make your strips as long as the width of the clipboard.

I used a strip of lace to tie all of the strips together.

You’ll want to add hot glue to the top part of the clip.

Once you have the hot glue in place, place your bow on top.

I added a bling to the center of the bow.
